Why the Name Change?

The logo above represents our new look and brand. P38 comes from the molecular formula for propane – C3H8. This new brand identity is beginning in Ontario but will eventually be prevalent throughout our enterprise to replace the Budget Propane brand entirely as we continue to grow in Ontario, Quebec, and beyond.

How will this affect me as a customer?

Don’t worry – the only change you have to make as a customer in Ontario is to re-direct bill payments after February 1, 2015, from Budget Propane to P38 Energy Inc.

You will also get to experience the new P38 Energy brand and website – just one part of our constant efforts to provide our valued customers with the best service and information possible.

You will begin to see our new brand on customer communications, invoicing, work orders, and advertising materials beginning on February 1. Over the next few years the brand identity on our propane tanks and trucks will also reflect the P38 Energy brand.

Why is this only happening in Ontario?

Budget Propane began business in Quebec before expanding to Ontario markets. During this expansion, a brand conflict arose with another company in Ontario. We realized this was a great opportunity to refresh our brand identity after 20 years in business, and P38 Energy was born.

Ontario customers will be the first to experience this change with us, but over the next few years P38 Energy will eventually prevail throughout our entire organization.
